EO Smith Crew travel bus will be leaving sharply from the School on 4/8 Saturday morning 11:00. Team wear appropriate gear and uniforms!
Long sleeve jacket or stretchy/ compression shirt in case of rain or cold.
Parents or Crew members please do not arrive at Farmington before12:30 area won't be open.
Athletes should be back at EO Smith by 4:00 pm latest. Bus will return team.

Middletown Novice Race
Sunday May 14th
Middletown is very excited to host the Novice Regatta this Sunday. Below are the updated times based on the changes that were made:
6:00 - 7:30 - Athlete & Trailer Drop-Off
8:00 - Coaches & Coxswain Meeting at the MHS Boathouse
8:30 - Launch boats for first races
2:00 - Finish the last races
2:30(ish) - Awards Ceremony in the North end of Harbor Park
Middletown Communications:
Please remind families to park at Melilli Plaza parking lot & walk through the tunnel. There will be extremely limited parking, but food tent drivers can drop off supplies in the North end of the park. No spectators should go past the restaurant that is currently under construction.
Lastly, we have one policy change: The goal of the Novice Regatta is to give as many novice the opportunity to race as possible. Some teams have asked if they can fill the remainder of an unfilled novice boat with their most novice JV rowers. In order to ensure that the novice can race, JV rowers can fill the remainder of a boat. Because we also hand out ribbons & a cup at the end of the regatta, boats must declare that they have JV rowers at the coaches & coxswains meeting. Any boat declaring that they have JV rowers can only race twice. If they win their second race, the losing boat will advance. This ensures that all novice get two races, but also keeps the competition fair. Any true novice boat will still be able to place first under this policy using a double elimination bracket system. Rowers/Athletes,
The race is 750m from a floating start down stream. No times will be taken. First across the line wins, top 3 from each heat will advance to finals. There are ribbons for the top three boats in finals. The Erica Cup Trophy is also awarded to the first place in the Girls Varsity 8 Finals Race. The coaches & coxswains meeting will take place at 8:00am sharp.
