Rowing is not an easy sport to finance and every donation helps to ensure the longevity of E.O. Smith Crew and greater access to the sport for our youth. The funds raised by the athletes go to the team's equipment costs.

The E.O. Smith Foundation Panther Challenge is an annual online fundraising event open to all EO Smith sports teams, clubs, and graduation classes to help them raise money for their programs. It runs from Giving Tuesday through the following Friday.

 

In 2024, the Panther Challenge starts on December 3rd and runs through the end of December. Please give to our team! Better yet, click “Join Our Team: and share your own fundraising page! We are looking for individuals or businesses to sponsor our team. Contact Michelle Colvin for details.

E.O. Smith Crew's annual Ergathon in March is the team's main fundraising event for the year. It is a 12-hour relay race in which teams of athletes continuously row on indoor rowing machines and compete in various games and activities for team points.
